Slavni je francuski glumac koji je brzo osvojio američku publiku velikim ulogama u hitovima poput filma Brajana De Palme „Mission Impossible“ s Tomom Kruzom, filma Rolanda Emeriha „Godzilla“, Lik Besonovog „The Professional“ sa Natali Portman i Džon Frankenhajmerovog hita „Ronin“ sa Robertom De Nirom. Sa Stivom Martinom je glumio u „The Pink Panther“, sa Tomom Henksom u filmu Rona Hauarda „The DaVinci Code“. Najnovija uloga mu je u „Couples Retreat“ pored Vinsa Vona, Džona Favroa i Džejsona Bejtmana.
Pre filma „Alex Cross“, Reno je snimio komediju „You Don’t Choose Your Family“ u režiji Kristijana Klavijea i film Danijela Koena „Comme Un Chef“.
U 2010. Reno je glumio u hvaljenom filmu „The Round Up“, i oduševio kritiku kao francuski doktor koji leči jevrejsku decu u Višijevskoj Francuskoj. Očekujemo ga u Kenet Lonerganovom „Margaret“ pored Marka Rufala, Meta Dejmona i Ane Pakin. Videli smo ga u filmu „Armored“ pored Meta Dilona i Lorensa Fišborna i u „Pink Panther Redeux“ pored Stiva Martina, Džona Kliza, Endija Garsije i Alfreda Moline.
Reno je jedan od najcenjenijih francuskih glumaca, a osim ranije navedenih ostvarenja odlične uloge ostvario je u filmovima „Tais Toi“, „Les Visiteurs“, Les Visiteurs II“, „Jet Lag“, „L'Empire de Loups“ (Empire of the Wolves), „Crimson Rivers“ i „The Tiger and the Snow“.
Najuspešnije saradnje je ostvario s rediteljem Likom Besonom u filmovima „The Professional“, „Le Dernier Combat“, „Subway“, „The Big Blue“, „La Femme Nikita“ i „Wasabi“.
Rođen u Kazablanki od roditelja Španaca, Reno je krenuo za snom da postane glumac u Francuskoj nakon služenja vojske u Nemačkoj, a počeo je kao član putujućeg glumačkog pozorišta koje je nastupalo po Francuskoj.
