Britanski filmski režiser Ken Russell preminuo je u 84. godini.
Njegov sin Alex rekao je da je Ken Russell umro mirno, u snu, u bolnici.
Tokom svoje karijere Ken Russell je postao poznat po svojim kontroverznim filmovima, među kojima je "Women in Love" za koji je bio i nominovan za Oscara.
On je režirao drame "Crimes Of Passion" i "The Devils" kao i rok operu "Tommy" grupe "Who".
